While Honda made a strong showing in requests for new car leases, the all new Volvo XC90 makes its debut on the list this quarter. Crossover vehicles such as the Acura MDX 4WD and Honda Pilot are a popular and growing segment because they combine the benefits of a sedan and sport utility.
Used car leasing requests continue to be dominated by luxury models. Mercedes, BMW, and Porsche are steady favorites. Leasing a luxury late-model vehicle has grown in popularity as consumers in an uncertain economy try to keep monthly expenses to a minimum by leasing.
"Low financing rates will continue to be attractive to consumers and are driving the strong used car leasing market," notes Tarry Shebesta, president and owner of ACS.
LeaseCompare.com, as the name suggests, provides a tool to instantly evaluate financing options from a number of sources. Customers can lock in the lease quote they like and apply for credit online. As an independent leasing company, ACS facilitates the entire leasing process.
