From its roots, ACS pioneered innovative ways to make car buying a better experience, to help our customers save time and money. ACS began as a Car Buyers' Agent in the 80s, using dial-up bulletin boards to reach out to customers and later migrating to CompuServe and then to the Internet in the 90s.

ACS entered the direct-to-the-consumer leasing and financing space in the early 2000's, and was one of the first to offer leasing online, through its flagship website, ACS holds dealer licenses to lease new and used vehicles and sell used vehicles. Funding sources for our consumer financing and leasing offers include national and regional banks, credit unions, and private equity sources.

In the late 2000's, ACS expanded into the Dealer Services marketplace with its ground-breaking DriveItNow payment marketing technology for automotive dealer websites.

ACS has been featured in many national publications including Forbes, Consumer Digest, Kiplinger, Business Week, and Money magazine. CEO Tarry Shebesta has been a featured guest on Fox Business News, CNBC, and Bloomberg TV, and has presented at numerous industry conferences.
